§ Mr. StracheySugar is included in the Anglo-Polish trade agreement of June last as a foodstuff which we would be prepared to buy from Poland if the price were satisfactory. The prices asked,8W however, are nearly double those we are paying for sugar from other sources and the quantity available is in any case insignificant in relation to our requirements
