§ 29. Mr. Osborneasked the Minister of Supply if he is aware that 27 new R.A.F. bomb-sights have been sold from surplus stores at Toome, Antrim, to a Belfast dealer for £25, whereas they cost more than £500 each to produce; and if he is satisfied that proper prices are being obtained for such surplus stores.
§ Mr. LeonardThe cost of production of these bomb-sights complete averaged £60 each. Parts were, however, removed before sale. Surplus stores of this kind have a very limited civilian use and I am satisfied that the best possible prices are obtained by selling them by auction.
