§ Mr. BellengerDuring the first half of 1946 deaths of German prisoners of war in camps in Belgium were notified from the following causes:
Tuberculosis 49 Dysentery and abdominal diseases 38 Heart disease 31 Paralysis and brain disease 27 Pneumonia 16 Other diseases 18 Suicide 7 Accident 7 Total 193 The camps were all closed by 1st July, 1946.
