§ Mr. Dodds-Parkerasked the Secretary of State for War whether, in connection with promotions in the T.A., it is proposed to give any instructions to commanding officers indicating to what extent promotion should be given to those who will be in reserved occupations and not available in an emergency.
§ Mr. BellengerI understand that it is not at present possible to forecast which occupations may become reserved, and at what ages, in any future emergency. No instructions are, therefore, being given to commanding officers.
