§ Mr. Wilkesasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether there are any plans for the establishment of a Government secondary school in Northern Rhodesia for Europeans; and whether he will adopt the principle that no child shall be excluded from such Government-aided schools on racial grounds.
Mr. Creech JonesNo detailed plans have yet been formulated for the further196W development of European education in Northern Rhodesia. It is at present customary for European children from Northern Rhodesia to obtain secondary education in Southern Rhodesia or the Union of South Africa.
