§ Mr. Lawasked the Minister of Food if he is aware of the unsatisfactory quality of much of the meat now being distributed to butchers in the South Kensington area, resulting in both hardship and waste; and what action does he propose to take to remedy this state of affairs.
§ Mr. StracheyThe quality of meat at present being distributed to butchers in South Kensington is not below that for London as a whole and I cannot agree that much of the meat is not of satisfactory quality.
