§ Mr. SilkinI have no precise information regarding the matters referred to in the Question other than that reconstruction or repair work has been authorised by the Minister of Transport in respect of 23 footbridges since the war ended. I understand, however, that substantial progress has been made in reopening public rights of way and that, on the whole, the position in regard to recording is not unsatisfactory
