§ 120. Mr. Jannerasked the Minister of Transport if he will arrange that in the event of a breakdown in London underground transport, as has occurred since the beginning of the year, he will make arrangements to provide omnibus services between the stations affected on the lines of the arrangements made during the war to save congestion and allow passengers to get to their destination in reasonable time.
§ Mr. BarnesThe wartime arrangement for emergency services of buses to cover breakdowns in railway services is being continued, but is limited by the prevailing acute shortage of rolling stock.
