Mr. Hurdasked the Minister of Transport if there has been an increase in the number of accidents in which motor lorries drawing trailers have been involved; and if he will consider the need for the more adequate lighting of trailers to make them obvious to pedestrians as well as other traffic on the roads.
§ Mr. G. R. StraussI regret that the information asked for in the first part of the Question is not available. If the hon. Member has any evidence that the present requirements for the lighting of trailers are inadequate my right hon. Friend will be glad to consider it.
