Colonel Stoddart-Scottasked the Minister of Works when Hazelhill, Easby Drive, Ilkley, was last used by a Government Department; when it was decided that this house would no longer be required by a Government Department; and why his Department have consistently refused to permit the Ilkley Urban District Council to rent or requisition this property in order to help the housing position in Ilkley.
§ Mr. KeyHazelhill, Easby Drive, Ilkley, is Crown freehold and was occupied by the Ministry of Supply until July, 1946. The Ilkley Urban District Council were offered the property on sale, but declined the offer. It is now in use as a residence for the superintendent of the Royal Ordnance Factory, Leeds.
