§ 71. Mr. Medlicottasked the Under-Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs what progress is being made with regard to the reciprocal enforcement of affiliation orders as between this country and the Dominion countries.
§ Mr. BottomleyAs was explained by my predecessor in the Debate on the Adjournment on 19th December, 1945, very considerable difficulty is seen in the way of extending to affiliation orders the procedure provided in the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Act, 1920, and corresponding legislation in164W Dominions. In view of these difficulties it has not been possible so far to make progress in the matter.
