§ Mr. WilmotThe number of non-industrial civil servants of all grades employed in the Ministry of Supply on 1st April, 1947, was 41,383. This was 556 lower than the corresponding figure for 1st March. It is expected that the number will be reduced by some hundreds a month during the current year.
