HC Deb 17 April 1947 vol 436 cc48-50W
Mr. Hurd

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if any action is being taken by British consuls in Switzerland and other European countries to assist our export trade in poultry breeding stock, hatching eggs and day-old chicks on the lines now being adopted by the U.S. Consulate in Berne to encourage the demand for U.S. poultry stock.

Mr. T. Williams

If the hon. Member will give me particulars of the measures for encouraging the export of poultry breeding stock and hatching eggs that he wishes to be adopted, I will give sympathetic consideration to the matter.
