§ Mr. Sharpasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the financial Agreements with Italy have been signed.
§ Mr. DaltonYes, Sir, three Agreements have been signed in Rome today. These are a Sterling Payments Agreement, an Agreement regarding certain post-liberation debts and claims, and an Agreement on the release of Italian assets in the United Kingdom and payment of prewar debts. Copies of these Agreements are 39W being made available in the Library of the House and they will be published as a White Paper shortly.
