§ Mr. J. HyndOne hundred and sixty thousand acres, representing 3.1 per cent. of the total area, have been felled. Seventy-six thousand acres have been replanted or will be replanted during the current season. It is impossible to give any figures for natural regeneration because this method normally requires many years to complete.
