Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Minister of Supply if he is aware that Mowat's Pioneer Grit Company, Limited, of Aberdeen, have had to close down their factory and suspend a number of their employees owing to insufficient supplies of cast-iron scrap, and that they have also had to cancel export orders; and if he will take steps to enable them 294W to obtain supplies and resume production.
§ Mr. LeonardThis company had not previously notified us of the position. They have now been informed of alternative sources of supply, which should enable them to carry on.
