HC Deb 31 October 1946 vol 428 cc130-1W
76. Mr. Marlowe

asked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that, in co-operation with his Department, the Hove Corporation has made all necessary arrangements, including getting materials to the site, for the immediate building of 122 houses at Sunninghill, Hangleton, Hove; and what action he proposes to take in view of the fact that the site in question has not been derequisitioned by the War Office.

Mr. Bevan

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for War to his Question on Tuesday last. I am in consultation with my right hon. Friend regarding the release of that part of the site now under requisition by the War Office.
