HC Deb 30 October 1946 vol 428 c115W
Dr. Segal

asked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what remission of sentence has been granted to each of the three displaced persons from Admont Camp, who were recently convicted at Klagenfurt; and on what grounds their sentences were remitted.

Mr. J. Hynd

All three persons were released on 12th August, 1946, remission of sentence having been granted, in the case of the two men, of 24 weeks (and four days) and, in the case of the woman, of six weeks (and one day). These sentences were remitted by the reviewing officer as they were considered to be in excess of that required by the offence.
