HC Deb 29 October 1946 vol 428 c71W
83. Mr. Thornton-Kemsley

asked the Secretary of State for War if he is aware of the concern felt in the universities at the absence of any statement of policy regarding the future of the Senior Training Corps; and if he will make a comprehensive statement on this matter in the near future, outlining the conditions of service and purpose of the corps, the advantages of membership and the financial arrangements for its maintenance.

Mr. Bellenger

I am aware of the concern felt in the universities and will make a statement as soon as I can.
