Lindsayasked the Minister of Labour whether he will issue a report on trends of employment in relation to higher appointments, so that university students and others can be made aware of the general position of professional and business opportunities, as well as Civil Service and teaching.
§ Mr. IsaacsInformation about employment prospects in the various professions and occupations of similar status has been made generally available in the Handbook and pamphlets in the "Careers for Men and Women" series. Up-to-date information about employment prospects in such professions and occupations is now being obtained by my Department in conjunction with the professional and 63W similar bodies concerned, and will be included in revised editions of the Handbook and pamphlets.
