Mr. Sorensenasked the Secretary of State for War in view of the deterioration of morale among prisoners of war in Middle East camps, whether special attention will be given to the improvement of conditions and amenities; and whether the repatriation scheme has been fully explained to the prisoners.
§ Mr. BellengerThe Commander-in-Chief is fully aware of the necessity of providing all reasonable amenities for prisoners of war in the Middle East. An explanatory announcement will be made to the prisoners before the end of this month.
