asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether, in view of the publication of the White Paper on Government action in Wales, he will consider issuing a similar paper for Scotland.

Many aspects of Scottish administration are already covered by the series of Scottish Office reports which were published annually before the war and which will be resumed as soon as conditions permit. In addition arrangements are being made for the compilation of a White Paper for publication next year dealing with the industrial and employment position in Scotland which has not hitherto been a subject of a separate report.
