§ Mr. Price-Whiteasked the Secretary of State for War whether his attention has been drawn to the bad conditions existing in the sleeping quarters of J Company, A.T.S. camp at 324 London Road, Leicester, due to the rat-infested nature of the property; that volunteers have been bitten by rats whilst asleep in their quarters; and if he will cause action to be taken either to close these quarters or to secure the immediate extinction of the rats.
§ Mr. BellengerThere are no A.T.S. sleeping quarters in the building mentioned but I assume the hon. Member is referring to those in Victoria Park where the presence of rats was recently reported. The rodent officer has already taken action and issued a clearance certificate.
