§ 29. Wing-Commander Shackletonasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is satisfied that the redundancy schemes, in respect of which his Department have issued certificates under Sec- 42W tion 25 of the Finance Act, 1935, still fulfil the conditions under which they were granted.
§ Sir S. CrippsAs I was no longer satisfied that the schemes operated by National Shipbuilders Security, Limited, and the Metallic Bedstead Manufacturers' Association still fulfilled the conditions laid down by the Act, instructions were given for the certificates previously issued in respect of these two schemes to be cancelled as from 1st October, 1946. A review of the other schemes in respect of which certificates are in force is proceeding.
