asked the Minister of Supply the number of persons at present employed at the Royal Ordnance Depot at Melmerby, Yorkshire; and the weekly cost of maintaining this depot.

Mr. Wilmot

One hundred and seventeen persons are employed at this depot, which costs us £680 a week to run. From 9th November these figures will be reduced to 75 and £415, respectively.
