Mr. Ecclesasked the Minister of Food whether he will make a statement giving the stocks of tea in this country on the latest date available and on the corresponding date a year ago and in 1938; the monthly consumption during the period between the two dates to which the stock figures for this year and last year refer; and the estimated production of tea during this year in the sterling area and outside the sterling area.
