§ Mr. W. EdwardsThe stock of used and unused blankets at present in the United Kingdom is 394,000 and a further 68,000 approximately are held abroad. Since the end of the war, 698,000 from United Kingdom stock have been declared surplus to the appropriate disposal authorities, and it is expected that further quantities will be declared surplus when the review of stocks held overseas is complete.
