Mr. Creech JonesThe Bahamas Labour Board Act of 1946 empowered the Governor to appoint a Labour Board of five members, two of whom were to be members of the House of Assembly not being members of the Executive Council nor holding any office of profit under the Crown. The Governor has already been asked to furnish the names of members as soon as the Board is formed, and I will communicate with my hon. Friend when I have his reply.
