asked the hon. Member for Walthamstow, West, as Chairman of the Kitchen Committee, what is the cost of the new uniforms of the male and female staff, respectively, and what fund bears the cost of these uniforms.

Cost of uniforms for the male staff was £395 15s., and for the female staff £100 18s. 8d. The cost is borne by the funds of the Select Committee on the Kitchen and Refreshment Rooms (House of Commons).
