asked the Minister of Agriculture if he intends to maintain the present prices paid for British-grown wool for the year 1947.

Discussions are proceeding with representatives of the farmers and other interests with regard to future arrangements for disposing of home-grown wool. No decision has yet been reached about the method of disposal or prices of the 1947 clip, but an announcement will be made at the earliest opportunity.
