asked the Minister of Education how many students, male and female, respectively, are now undergoing training in emergency training colleges; how many have completed their training; and how many are awaiting entrance to colleges after being accepted as suitable.

asked the Minister of Education how many emergency training colleges are now in operation and how many more are expected to open in the future; and what is the location of the existing and intended colleges.

Twenty-five emergency training colleges are now in operation, and two more will be opened by the end of this month. I expect to open about 31 more. I am sending the hon. Member a list showing where these are situated.
