HC Deb 21 October 1946 vol 427 cc306-7W
127. Mr. Thurtle

asked the Secretary of State for Air if his attention has been drawn to the unsatisfactory conditions prevailing, particularly in regard to food and clothing, at the R.A.F. camp at Araxos, Greece; and if he will have prompt inquiries made as to the conditions prevailing at this camp.

Mr. de Freitas

Living conditions are bound to be rather difficult at an isolated unit of this kind, but we are doing all we can to reduce the hardships. I will write to my hon. Friend when I have heard further from the Command.
