116. Sir P. Hannon

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in view of recent events in Yugoslavia, he will invite His Majesty's Ambassador at Belgrade to come to this country for consultation on possible future developments in that country which may affect British interests in South-East Europe.

Mr. McNeil

My right hon. Friend is kept fully informed by telegram and despatch by His Majesty's Ambassador at Belgrade of recent developments in Yugoslavia and regards it as important that he should remain at his post at the present time.
