§ 59. Mr. Hardyasked the Minister of Labour whether he is aware of the discontent existing amongst the staffs of hospitals and institutions in the London area at the failure of the London Provincial Council to function in accordance with the constitution of the National Joint Council for Hospitals, Institutions and Allied Staffs; and if he will take the necessary steps to secure that the council meets without further delay.
§ Mr. IsaacsI am aware of the difficulties which have unfortunately caused delay in the establishment of a London Provincial Council for the staff of hospitals and allied institutions. Discussions are, however, proceeding, which I hope will result in an early solution of these difficulties.
