§ 108. Mr. Medlandasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty if he will arrange for the removal of the dump of cars and vehicles deposited in the Central Park, Plymouth; and what representations he has received from the city council respecting the giving back to the people of the city, for their own use, of the land now occupied by his Department in the park.
§ Mr. W. EdwardsRepresentations were made by Plymouth city council to the Admiral Superintendent, H.M. Dockyard, Devonport, for the release of the land now occupied in Central Park in June last and on 7th October. Every effort is being made, in conjunction with the Ministry of Supply, to reduce by disposal the number of motor vehicles stored in the Park, and it is hoped that a material reduction will soon be possible. The open space thus released will be de-requisitioned when it is cleared. It will, however, be necessary for the present to retain the storage hangar for Admiralty use.
