§ 17. Mr. J. Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he is aware that, since the inception of the Malayan Union, the licensed pleaders who formerly practised in the Trengganu courts have been forbidden to practise; and whether he will take steps to protect the rights of these advocates.
