106. Mr. Vaneasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware of the poor canteen and other barrack or hutted accommodation available for British troops in northern Greece; and what reasons have prevented him from carrying out improvements and extensions before the winter.
§ Mr. BellengerThe accommodation used for British troops in northern Greece consists mainly of requisitioned buildings, 161W which are the best that can be made available. I have not had any reports that the accommodation is poor, but if the hon. Member will let me have details of any specific case, I will make inquiries.
