§ 135. Mr. Keelingasked the Undersecretary of State for India whether he will give the terms of any oath taken by the new Members of the Government of India when they took office on 2nd September.

HendersonMembers of the Government of India are required by the Governor General's Instrument of Instructions to take oaths, or, if they have objection to the making of oaths, to make affirmations of allegiance, office and secrecy in a prescribed form. I am circulating the terms of these in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
The following are the forms of Oath or affirmation referred to:
