§ Mr. Asterley Jonesasked the Secretary of State for War whether it is proposed to close No. 5 Command Workshops, Buntingford, Herts; and, if so, whether he will give an assurance that the buildings will be used to give employment locally.
§ Mr. BellengerThis workshop will be closed in the near future. The buildings are still required for storage and local civilian employees will be needed; but I am afraid that there will be little or no place in the new establishment for skilled tradesmen of the types now employed.
