§ 86. Mr. Gammansasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if any progress has been made with the preparation of plans for a colonial house or centre in London.
Mr. Creech JonesI have nothing to add at the moment to the answer which I gave to the previous question asked by the hon. Member on 17th July. I hope that the new Colonial Office building will embody adequate facilities for the reception and information of visitors on official business. At the same time I appreciate the importance of providing a special building for cultural and social purposes.
