§ 36. Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Secretary of State for War if he is aware that some paratroopers who were concerned in the recent court martial in Malaya, whose sentences were quashed, have against their will been transferred to an infantry regiment, the D.L.I., with a consequent drop in pay; whether this was done as a penalty for their part in this episode; how any paratroopers so concerned were treated in this way; and if he will see that none of these paratroopers are penalised in any way.
