§ 102. Mr. Dribergasked the Minister of Health if his attention has been called to the increasing incidence of food-poisoning; and if, in this connection, he is satisfied that adequate hygienic standards are maintained at slaughterhouses generally.
§ Mr. BevanThere has been an increase in the number of instances notified to my Department. It is doubtful to what extent this implies on actual increase in incidence, and there is no evidence that any such increase has been caused by conditions in slaughterhouses, where hygienic standards have, on the whole, been well maintained.
