Graham-Littleasked the Minister of Education if her attention has been drawn to the proposal of the Middlesex County Council to requisition a private school, Badingham College, Surrey, and therefore in the jurisdiction of Surrey County Council which recently proposed to requisition this school but refrained from doing so on being satisfied with the work done at the school; and what action she is taking.
§ Miss WilkinsonI am aware that the Middlesex County Council propose to purchase compulsorily the school referred to. I have to act in a judicial capacity in determining whether the proposal shall be confirmed or not and I cannot say in advance what action I shall take.
