§ 148. Mr. Awberyasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will consider the desirability of changing the date of the municipal elections in county and non-county boroughs from 1st November to a more suitable date when the days are longer, in order to encourage a larger number of people to exercise their franchise in these important elections.
