asked His Majesty's Government whether they will now publish a full translation of the secret supplementary treaty of 1939, between the Third German Empire and the Union of Socialist Soviet Republics, which it is understood contained proposals for the partition of Poland.

A full English translation of the text of the secret protocol attached to the Non-Aggression Pact of August 23, 1939, containing an agreement on the definition of spheres of influence in Poland, has been published in the British Press. No advantage is seen in making any official publication of the text.
