asked the President of the Board of Trade if he is aware of the shortage of men's civilian clothing; and what steps does he propose to take to provide sufficient stocks to meet the coupons issued to demobilised Servicemen.

Certain types of men's clothing are short, owing to the large proportion of production which has until very recently been taken for the demobilisation outfits. This drain on output is becoming less as release rates fall, and supplies for the home market, especially of men's suits, should show a progressive improvement during the coming months
