HC Deb 04 November 1946 vol 428 c192W
125. Commander Maitland

asked the Minister of Health if he is satisfied that all steps have now been taken to ensure that the water supply in the Horncastle district will be in all respects fit for drinking at the earliest possible date.

Mr. Key

No, Sir. Analyses of the water which is supplied by the Horncastle Water Company, indicate that it is polluted and the medical officer of health for the district has advised that it should be boiled before it is used. My right hon. Friend is not satisfied with the steps taken by the company to improve the supply and he is going further into the question with them.
