asked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in view of the need to re-equip and rehabilitate the textile industry in this country, he will increase the allocation of current textile machinery production to home manufacturers.

In deciding upon the balance between home and export supplies of textile machinery, special consideration is given to the needs of the textile industry at home. For the principal types of spinning machinery, manufacturers have been able to put into manufacture all home orders at present on their books.
