HC Deb 01 November 1946 vol 428 cc156-7W
Mr. Granville

asked the Minister of Agriculture what progress has been made towards the completion of a satisfactory price-fixing arrangement upon a fair and equitable basis for agriculture.

Mr. T. Williams

A number of meetings have been held between representatives of the Agricultural Departments and of the Farmers' Unions of England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, at which useful progress has been made in considering possible improvements in the price review procedure. I hope to be in a position to make an announcement shortly.
