§ Mr. K. Lindsayasked the Secretary of State for War what is the present strength of the Army Education Corps; and how many of its number are teachers eligible for returning to civil life under Class A.
§ Mr. LawsonOn 30th April the strength of the Army Educational Corps was 1,844 all ranks. Of this number 764 are classified as teachers before enlistment and are serving on non-Regular engagements. These men will be eligible for release in due course under Class A, provided they do not defer their release voluntarily.
